Ephesians Week 1
This powerful message invites us to discover what it truly means to be alive in Christ by exploring Paul's letter to the Ephesians. We're challenged to move beyond 'little Jesus' faith—that comfortable but incomplete version of Christianity, and grow into the full measure of Christ's stature. The central theme revolves around grace as an undeserved gift that we can never earn, no matter how hard we work. This isn't about creating a transactional relationship with God where we perform to receive love; instead, it's about working from a place of already being loved. The Ephesian church serves as our mirror, a community that once shook their culture not through aggression or judgment, but by living differently because of their relationship with Jesus. We're reminded that we are saints, not because of our perfection, but because of our position in Christ. The call is clear: stop walking around like we're dead when Christ has made us alive. This means our faith should be contagious, our words should build others up according to their needs, and our lives should reflect the reality that we've been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. The question we must answer is whether someone looking at our lives would see Jesus or just another person blending into the culture.
